What is Candida?

Candida albicans is a species of yeast — a single-celled fungus, that lives naturally in the body. It is a normal part of the microbes that live on your skin and in your gastrointestinal tract.

Normally it is harmless and you don’t even know it’s there. But when you start to have recurrent illness and strange symptoms that go unexplained, you can bet candida is the base issue of that condition. In the elderly you see many respiratory issues, some that put them into the ER. The underlying problem is actually the overgrowth of yeast.

Most people are aware that the use of antibiotics and steroids are the primary cause of the overgrowth. What most us are not aware of is this, the food you eat is also causing this problem. The animals have been given large amount of antibiotics and a stew of other chemicals to speed up growth and more. So you see, when you eat meat you are also getting a dosage of antibiotics. We are not saying you should stop eating meat, just be aware of how else you are getting antibiotics in your body. The water you drink has many chemicals also, especially if you are drinking out of the facet. Even if you are drinking bottled water, the plastics contain hormones that also cause disruptions with your hormones.

Artificial sweeteners like Splenda also destroy the natural bacteria of your gut. Most boxed foods have a healthy dose of this sweetener. You must avoid these very unnatural sweeteners to keep a health gut. Please check out Dr Price’s book to find out more on this subject, What you need to know about your body and how to cleanse it.

The wheat and other plants you eat are subject to over saturation of Glyphosate (weed killer) which destroys your natural bacteria in the gut as well. This is why it is important to eat many of your plants in its natural state, organically. Reading labels can be tricky and you cannot always be sure that the product is as “organic” as you may think. There are vertical towers to grow your own vegetables in your home or on your patio to make sure you know exactly what is in your plants you consume. In about five weeks the plants are ready to consume, it can be fun for the family and the kids love projects like this. Most people say they always have more food than they can eat and usually give out much of the food. Check out https://www.towergarden.com/

All living things produce waste

These wastes, when excreted in your body are toxins. Your liver and lymphatic systems must detoxify these toxins, but with a sluggish liver this may be difficult. When the liver becomes sluggish, your lymphatic system automatically slows down its detoxifying mechanisms. This is why with candida overgrowth it is a good idea to assist these processes to function properly. A good idea is to first cleanse your colon, then began a liver/gallbladder flush. Your lymphatic system will thank you.

We call these toxins, “endotoxins,” and when your body becomes weak and can no longer detox your body’s own endotoxins, this is when the first symptoms begin. This is why it is so important to cleanse your colon and assist the liver and gallbladder system back into action. The liver produces a powerful detoxifying antioxidant called Glutathione, when its levels become low as found in a Organic Acid Test (OATS) the body has a difficult time cleaning up these endotoxins.

A whole wave of other problems come along with this condition, for example you can accumulate large amounts of Calcium Oxalates. This is when the calcium ingested with meals does not go to the right place, it begins to store in the soft tissues, which can be painful. Anyone can begin to have an accumulation of high calcium oxalates and suffer from body aches and pains like for example fibromyalgia. Most of us know an excess of calcium oxalates as “kidney stones.” The kidneys can also accumulate phosphate oxalates as well. So if you keep getting kidney stones there is a good chance you also have…you guessed it – candida overgrowth!

Only when you learn how to combat candida is when these type of conditions will begin to reverse themselves.

Candida is very deceptive

It can mimic many “disease” states from brain tumors, heart attacks to stomach ulcers. It can also mimic chronic fatigue syndrome, early senility, arthritis and fibromyalgia as stated above.

How do you control Candida issues?

Three actions are needed to be successful:
